TRANSITIONS, 2021

Challenging the relationship between fitness and design, Alina zum Hebel and Lilli Conreen present ‘Transitions’. The result; a series that explores the impact of creativity on movement through materiality. Reflecting on our relationship with everyday objects such as gym equipment we encourage these objects to behave in a way that they’re not supposed to. Sculptures made from concrete, glass and salt have been designed alongside 3D animation and film to represent digital and physical worlds. 

The project was realised in collaboration with BLOK London. The exhibition will take place between the 21st of June 2021 and the 12th of December 2021 in BLOK Shoreditch.
