LATENT REALISIM, 2021
Latent Realism comes to live as a series of publications, the work explores chemicals of everyday use - such as bleach, dye, and soda -through para-photographic processes. This technique is characterised by replacing technological traces of photography with chemistry and light. This enables new ways of seeing by encoding our environment. The essential elements in this work are: photosensitive materials, chemical solutions and localising materials. The techniques are more related to engraving, painting or lithography than to photography itself.
